M.V. Gambler

Handcrafted for the hunt.

At 61ft, the new Assegai 61 is built of timber, high density foam and fibreglass, designed with precision as the newest, most premium game fishing vessel in Australia. Its western cedar planked hull is strong, light and fast, with a top speed of 40 knots that puts the outer reef, offshore shoals and bluewater grounds within easy reach of Cairns for day and extended overnight charters.

Equipped with the latest fishing technology and top of the range equipment, along with a highly experienced crew who know these waters and fishing grounds exceptionally well, Gambler is set up to give guests the best possible chance of experiencing some truly world class fishing.

Calling Cairns home, Gambler joined the Morris Nautical fleet in September 2026.
