Day 1: Honiara
Board Northern Escape in Honiara, where your Solomon Islands adventure begins. Settle in and enjoy sunset drinks as we cruise toward Tulagi, part of the Nggela Islands, setting the tone for days of exploration ahead.
Day 2: Tulagi and North-West Florida Islands
Begin your diving adventure with WWII shipwrecks and plane wrecks, followed by the breathtaking Twin Tunnels dive, a sea mount with caves, vertical shafts, and a vibrant reef. In the afternoon, cruise to Roderick Bay to snorkel around the abandoned MS World Discoverer, explore the local village, or relax on the beach.
Day 3: Florida Islands to Karamolun Island
Kick off with a drift dive at Tanavula Point, followed by a reef dive at Maragavi Island. After lunch, cruise toward Karamolun Island for a third dive at Barracuda Point, where a dramatic underwater landscape extends from 4m down to 40m, alive with marine life.
Day 4: Mborokua Island
Arrive at uninhabited Mborokua, a haven of pristine rainforest and world-class diving. Explore Barracuda Point’s underwater cliffs before cruising to Marovo Lagoon for afternoon dives, a beach BBQ, or a night dive on a private coral atoll.
Day 5: Marovo Lagoon
Dive into the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Marovo Lagoon, the largest double barrier lagoon in the world, renowned for its coral atolls, white sands, and crystal waters. Spend your day diving, snorkelling, kayaking, or visiting local villages known for their intricate wood carvings.
Day 6: Munda Dive Sites
Experience some of the Solomon Islands’ best diving at Munda:
Aussie Point: Known for hammerhead sightings, giant sea fans, and pelagic life.
Mushroom Island: A vibrant wall dive with soft corals and marine life.
Shark Point: A spectacular wall dive, with opportunities to see hammerhead and silvertip sharks among lush coral gardens.
